Recession Gangsta

Recession, recession, recession! That’s all I have been hearing for the past year..or is it two now? I’m not afraid to say that I feel the lovely burns from it sometimes, but there is always a way to work around it. After being told from a promoter that my pictures looked too ‘polished’, me and my girl, Sandy, grabbed a digital camera and tried to capture a more gritty look. After shooting around her house and backyard, we realized that the clouds were not placed exactly how we wanted. We needed another location.

We hopped in her Versa and headed down to the Hamilton Bayfront. That began with a battle against the clouds, where we fought for sunlight. We surrendered for a brief moment with ice cream and french fries (that turned out to be a bad combo!). In the end, every picture turned out sugary sweet, which doesn’t work on a flyer full of tough rappers. We did manage to get one gem as you can see above.  Crazy what you can do in your own backyard, eh?
